Back Porch Refresh

Have you ever had a back porch so embarrassing you didn't even want to take a photo of it or have company over? That's the position my wife and I were in a few weeks ago. We finally got some decent weather and decided to do a quick refresh and add an outdoor movie screen.

Luckily, our old outdoor furniture completely bit the dust and it happen to be bulk trash pickup week, so out with the old and in with the new. With some help from FaceBook Marketplace, we got a whole set of new chairs for free, so we now have a full set of Adirondack style chairs that actually takes up a proportional amount of space.

With the new furniture it was also time to give the porch a good deep wash with the pressure washer, which is a story for another post, but never the less, felt good to have a nice clean start.

This whole project including the pressure washing only took a couple hours, and it was completely worth it. We are very happy with the results of the effort put in, and love the low maintenance aspects of the finishes we used.
